Breeding Program

At Bruin Ranch we have assembled a cow herd that can perform in every segment of the cattle industry. Our goal is to make our customers profitable at whatever endpoint they market their cattle. By utilizing some of the most proven sources of fleshing ability, mothering ability, and udder quality as a foundation, then selecting for respectable carcass traits, we now have animals that can thrive in any part of the industry. In order to maintain a consistent and profitable product, we use an array of some of the most proven sires in the industry. On the other hand, to keep our customers on the front end of the market and genetic pool, we are not hesitant to sample young sires that are bred for the kind of phenotype and EPD profile that we select for. A cow at Bruin Ranch must do the same that we ask of her progeny--she must produce offspring that can capture value in any facet from the show ring to the feedlot and from post weaning gain to the rail.
